Dump valve open circuit Mercedes CLA250

This open-circuit dump valve has been designed for Mercedes GDI 2.0 Turbo engines fitted on CLA250s with a solenoid valve. It is recommended for all vehicles whose turbo pressure has been increased by ECU reprogramming, as well as for vehicles operating in hot climates. It's a solution to many of the problems identified, where the standard rubber diaphragm cracks, causing a loss of turbo pressure. Unfortunately, the malfunction doesn't always trigger the engine light when the valve is held open by turbo pressure, so it's possible to be unaware that you're losing power as a result.
Forge's alternative offers much greater reliability. This Forge dump valve works with a solid piston, made entirely of aluminum. It replaces the standard component with a pressure/vacuum-operated piston, and retains standard ECU control over the dump valve.
