Set of 2 Cartek connectors with 50 crimp contacts for PDP-16 panel

The Cartek connector kit for the PDP-16 panel allows you to connect the wiring harness to the Cartek 16-channel electrical distribution panel. It includes two rear connectors and 50 crimp contacts to assemble wiring tailored to the vehicle’s equipment.

The black and blue connectors correspond to the panel’s two rear sockets. The contacts are supplied separately so that the wires can be prepared before insertion into the connector housings.

Installation

Cartek requires the use of crimping tool TE 58529-1 (TE Connectivity Pro-Crimper III crimping tool for Multimate Type III+ contacts and Multimate Type VI contacts). Crimping with an unsuitable tool may prevent the contacts from seating properly in the connectors.

Prepare the wires, crimp the contacts, and then insert them according to the pinout specified in the PDP-16 panel manual. Verify that each contact is securely locked in place and that the wiring matches before applying power.
