Why buy the Forge Fiat 500 dump valve? Your Fiat 500 is equipped with an electronic solenoid driven valve from the factory, which is integrated into the functions of the ECU, and unplugging or removing the valve will result in a check engine light on the dashboard.

The Forge solution is to retain the solenoid operation, but to use it to divert vacuum and boost pressure to the valve, to make it into a more traditional valve driven by air pressure. The Forge valve will give you a product that is superior in its construction and durability over the OEM valve, and of course the forge is serviceable and guaranteed for life.

The Forge valve doesn’t suffer with either of these problems as it uses an aluminium piston and is totally rebuildable. It’s also configurable for different levels of boost pressure e.g. on a remapped car, by simply changing the piston preload spring inside the valve. The Forge open circuit dump valve for Fiat 500 Abarth T-Jet is made of aluminum. This open circuit dump valve ejects pressure into the atmosphere producing the famous "Pschhht" when the throttle is released. This improves throttle response and enhances sealing for better reliability. Unlike single-piston or diaphragm dump valves, this one uses counterbalanced springs and a double piston to prevent air leakage into the intake system at idle. This prevents Forge's open circuit dump valves from suffering from piston or diaphragm failure problems. 

The kit comes complete with all fasteners and contains a solenoid and harness connector to maintain engine management system functionality. The dump valve is made with a double piston design, for better longevity while being fully removable and easily adjustable with replacement springs if needed.
