The Turbosmart RacePort GenV asprated wastegate valve is a universal wastegate valve developed for hi-flow turbocharged engines and competition applications. This blue version features a 50 mm inlet and a compact design capable of venting over 330 CFM.
When the butterfly valve is closed, the RacePort rapidly vents excess pressure from the boost system. This venting helps limit pressure backflow to the turbocharger and is ideal for setups requiring a high-flow pop-off.
The GenV generation uses a machined 6000-series aluminum body combined with a hard-anodized valve guide and valve stem. Its high-temperature diaphragm and positive-seal valve seat are designed to ensure rapid reaction and a tight seal under pressure.
The RacePort uses a quick-release V-Band mounting. The kit also includes a machined aluminum fitting to be welded onto the supercharging line. Two 1/8 NPT reference ports facilitate the orientation of the control fitting according to the chosen installation layout.
A blue spring calibrated for a vacuum of -18 to -14 inHg is installed as standard. Turbosmart offers several interchangeable springs to adjust the pop-off valve’s operation to the available engine vacuum.
The RacePort GenV is also available in several colors, including black, purple, red, and the Sleeper finish. Each color corresponds to a distinct Turbosmart part number.
This RacePort is a universal dump valve that requires its weld-on fitting to be integrated into a compatible boost line. The spring selection must match the engine’s available vacuum at idle. Other Turbosmart springs are available to adjust the calibration if necessary.
