This Milltek DPF removal kit for the BMW M3 M4 G8x (2020+) with intermediate pipe (Non-Resonated) has been specially developed to replace the stock particle filter (GPF/OPF), improve exhaust gas flow, and enhance the engine’s sporty sound.
This Milltek particle filter replacement replaces the particle filter (GPF/OPF) as well as the stock center section with a 101.60 mm (4-inch) T304L stainless steel pipe.
This configuration reduces backpressure, optimizes exhaust flow, and produces a more pronounced, metallic, and expressive sound.
Developed exclusively to work with a Milltek exhaust system, this DPF removal kit is compatible only with Milltek rear mufflers to ensure a cohesive system in terms of mounting, flow, and sound.
Removing the particle filter (GPF/OPF) further unleashes the sound character of the BMW M3 and M4 G8x (2020+), while providing a foundation suitable for more extensive engine tuning.
Installation of this Milltek DPF bypass requires either a Stage 2 engine remap or deactivation of the GPF/OPF via electronics to prevent engine fault codes related to the removal of the particle filter.
