Under harsh driving conditions, a vehicle’s cooling system is subjected to high pressure.
OEM plugs are not designed to withstand higher pressure, which leads to coolant leaks into the overflow tank.
The Mishimoto 1.3 bar high-pressure radiator cap keeps the cooling fluid where it needs to circulate within the cooling system. This cap fits most Japanese vehicles (see diagram in photo).
