Revotec Adjustable Thermocontact Kit, Ø38 mm, y for 12V fan

The Revotec Ø38 mm adjustable thermocontact kit for 12V electric fans automates the activation of the cooling radiator fan based on the engine coolant temperature. Mounted directly on the upper radiator hose, it offers a simple solution for controlling an electric fan in a car, a race car, an SUV, or an SSV.

With an adjustment range of 70 to 120°C, the activation temperature can be tailored to the vehicle’s configuration. As soon as the selected threshold is reached, the fan starts running. It then shuts off automatically when the temperature drops 3°C below the set value.

This Revotec electronic fan controller directly measures the cooling fluid temperature at the hose. It is suitable for adding an electric fan as well as for modifying or replacing an existing cooling control system, particularly on older vehicles, modified vehicles, or those used in demanding conditions.

Its aluminum housing fits into the upper coolant hose of the cooling system. The kit comes with a 700 mm wiring harness, a 30A relay, two clamps, and the necessary wiring accessories. Mounting instructions are also available on this page to facilitate installation and adjustment.

Designed for a 12V power supply and vehicles with a negative ground, this kit uses a 30A relay. The electric fan controlled by the thermocontact must have a maximum current rating of 30A.

Be careful when choosing the diameter: the 38 mm diameter corresponds to the outside diameter of the Revotec controller and, therefore, to the inner diameter of the hose that houses it. Check the inner diameter of your upper radiator hose before placing your order.
