The famous BMC C.D.A (Carbon Dynamic Airbox) intake kit is a carbon dynamic airbox filtration system for PSA 1.6 16V Peugeot 206/207 Citroen C2 VTS/VTR. This filtration system consists of a cylindrical carbon-fiber airbox containing a washable filtration element. The choice of carbon in the manufacture of the airbox is important, since carbon is a thermal insulator and insulates both the filter and the incoming air from engine heat. By replacing the original airbox with the CDA, fresh air is channeled directly through the pleats of the air filter into the box, while being isolated from the heat, and then drawn towards the engine by the flow deflector with minimum energy loss.Greater air flow, high pressure and fresh air are the elements that increase engine efficiency and avoid energy dissipation.
