The Street Density engine brackets are made from 50 durometer rubber, which is 10% stiffer than the original brackets.
Optimised to be full, with no voids, these mounts far surpass the original with 25% more rigidity. Their steel chainstays, which are much stronger than the original aluminium chainstays, are designed to withstand the increased stresses of sporty driving.
The result is a significant reduction in power unit movement, sharper gear changesand reduced hop, with no noticeable increase in noise or vibration in the cockpit.
Density Line mounts are made from high-hardness rubber rather than polyurethane, for a number of reasons. Rubber can absorb stress in both tension and compression, unlike polyurethane mounts, which are only effective in compression. In addition, rubber offers excellent shear strength, where polyurethane is limited.

Please note! The nuts on these brackets must be tightened to the factory specification of 25 Nm (approx. 18.5 ft-lbs). Overtightening these nuts can damage the bracket!
