POWERSPRINT wool for SSF muffler performance steel

This Powersprint stainless steel ferritic chrome exhaust insulation wool for SSF mufflers is heat-resistant up to approx. 800°C for use as a lining for absorption tubes and muffler filling.

Total length varies according to winding and material. For example, a 5kg roll of ferritic stainless steel wool can have a material length of between 90 and 100 meters.

In muffler construction, stainless steel wool is mainly used as a sheath for absorption tubes. This is to prevent the blowing out of insulation materials such as E-glass or basalt wool. However, it is also increasingly used to fill the absorption chambers of high-performance silencers.

Powersprint offers exclusively stainless steel wool in ferritic chromium steel, for temperatures up to 800°C for type SSF.
