Short Gear Ratios
Short gear ratios allow you to adjust the final drive ratio to improve the vehicle’s acceleration and responsiveness. By reducing the gear ratio, they promote faster acceleration at the expense of top speed.
GT2i offers a selection of short gear ratios designed for the transmissions and rear axles of many vehicles. Highly regarded in rallying, hill climbing, circuit racing, and drifting, they allow the drivetrain to be tailored to the engine’s characteristics, the type of event, and the desired handling.
