The Goodridge SSE0401-4F aviation-grade brake hose kit is designed for the Seat Leon I (1M1) 1.8 Sport / Cupra (2000–2005) as well as the 1.9 SDI / TDI models without ABS, with part numbers PR 1AM or 1AQ (11/1999–06/2006). It replaces the relevant flexible hoses in the braking system with PTFE-lined hoses reinforced with stainless steel trusses.

This construction limits hose deformation under pressure and contributes to a firmer, more consistent brake pedal feel during repeated use. The stainless steel braid also provides mechanical protection against abrasion.

The kit includes 4 flexibles: the front flexibles and the rear intermediate flexibles. The outer rear flexibles, which are integral with the original rigid lines, are not replaced by this kit.

Before installation, compare the lengths, fittings, and mounting points with the original parts. After installation, verify that the flexibles are not twisted, taut, or in contact with any moving parts throughout the full range of suspension travel and steering.

Replacement must be followed by a complete bleed of the brake circuit and a leak test. For sporty driving, we recommend a high-performance brake fluid compatible with the vehicle’s specifications.
