Caution! The Weber carburetors in the GT2i catalog all accept ethanol. However, E85 is hygroscopic and absorbs water, unlike gasoline. This phenomenon can lead to corrosion in Weber carburetors if the vehicle is stored or not used for a long period of time. The GT2i team advises you to anticipate any prolonged standstill by running on traditional petrol to eliminate all traces of water from the carburetion circuit and thus avoid corrosion.
