Revotec Adjustable Thermocontact Kit, Ø45 mm, y for fan

The Revotec Ø45 mm adjustable thermocontact kit for electric fans automatically controls fan activation based on cooling fluid temperature. This complete electronic controller installs directly onto the upper radiator hose and allows cooling management to be tailored to the engine’s needs.

The activation temperature is adjustable from 70 to 120°C. Once the selected threshold is reached, the controller automatically activates the electric fan. The fan shuts off when the cooling fluid temperature drops 3°C below the selected activation temperature.

This Revotec adjustable hose-mounted thermocontact provides a complete solution for adding an electric fan, replacing an older control system, or modifying the cooling system of a tuned, restored, or competition-ready vehicle. Since the sensor is in direct contact with the cooling fluid, the fan’s activation is controlled based on the temperature measured within the system.

Made of aluminum, the controller mounts onto a straight section of the upper hose and requires approximately 25 mm of space on the hose. Its overall length is approximately 65 mm. The direction of cooling fluid flow through the controller does not matter.

The kit comes with a 30 A relay and 700 mm of wiring. It operates at 12 V on vehicles with a negative ground. The current drawn by the electric fan controlled by the system must not exceed 30 A.

Be careful when selecting the diameter: the Ø45 mm dimension corresponds to the outside diameter of the Revotec controller and, therefore, to the inner diameter of the hose on which it will be installed. Be sure to measure the inner diameter of your upper hose before placing your order.
