Cool It Aramid Heat Barrier 66X102cm

This robust Cool It thermal barrier made of aramid is designed to withstand extreme conditions, with a remarkable ability to withstand radiant heat up to 1,650°C and direct contact temperatures reaching 398°C.

For secure attachment in exhaust system applications, this thermal insulator can be installed using rivets, adhesive or specific mounting clamps (not supplied).

When used as a heat shield, the metallic side faces the heat source. Conversely, when retaining heat, as on exhaust manifolds, the fabric side faces the heat. This configuration uses the metallic surface as a barrier, protecting against liquid penetration and ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
