The Heritage range of products is made from polyurethane. This is a specialised plastic that has been around for around thirty years. Advances have given this material some unique properties. Suspension parts are among the most stressed components on a car and are subject to enormous stresses.

These parts are originally made from rubber containing products that deteriorate with age. Over time, the vehicle moves more and more and offers less and less control over the suspension geometry.

This leads to accelerated tyre wear, unstable braking and poor road holding.

The Heritage range of products are distinguished by their dark grey colour, which maintains the standard appearance of the original rubber parts.

Powerflex has therefore created a material to overcome these problems. They have designed a polyurethane compound that allows parts to be manufactured that are 25 to 30% stiffer than older rubber products, while retaining exactly the same noise absorption properties.
