FORGE Enlarged discharge pipe for 2.0 TSI EA888 EVO4 (for FMINT24)

The FMDP1 is Forge Motorsport's direct replacement for the undersized OEM exhaust hose for the 2.0T EVO 4 engine.

With the popularity of the new generation EVO 4 engines, Forge Motorsport has developed the perfect high flow dump hose to enhance our racing intercooler offering (FMINT24). The Forge Motorsport discharge hose has a 76mm outlet that perfectly matches the inlet junction of our performance intercooler, improving flow and volume by enlarging the restrictive OEM plastic hose with this excellent solution.

The quest for more power means more boost and the need to remove any restrictions from the boost system is essential. When we looked at the OEM discharge hose system, it was clear that improvements could be made not only to the rigid hose, but also to the OEM rubber hoses. Using 3D scanning equipment and our CAD engineers, we delivered a product of impeccable accuracy and quality.

With several different designs to choose from, Forge Motorsport's in-house development team spent many months testing and trialling different designs to ensure that we delivered a superior product to tuning enthusiasts.

We opted for a rigid bent and shaped alloy tube with an internal diameter increased from 63mm to 76mm (a 21% increase in surface area) from the turbo outlet to the junction with the hot side of the intercooler. The new hoses included in the DP1 kit are now made from 4-ply fluorocarbon-coated silicone, and the kit is held in position by our specially designed bracket to ensure that, once fitted, it stays perfectly in place.

This new configuration results in a product capable of handling higher levels of supercharging while providing more efficient airflow, while also being a more durable product than the original and not prone to failure and fatigue like the OEM product. Like all Forge Motorsport products, the FMDP1 is covered by Forge Motorsport's legendary lifetime warranty.

Performance gains may vary depending on existing modifications and software tuning levels. In general, gains of 6-7BHP and 10NM of torque can be expected when the FMDP1 is fitted in conjunction with the FMINT24.

The overall look is stealthy, with our textured black powder coating and black silicone hoses retaining the OEM look more in the engine bay.

The FMDP1 is a direct replacement for the original part number 5WA 145 840D and like all Forge products, this kit comes with its detailed fitting instructions.
