The reinforcement plates are made of 3 mm-thick steel and are designed and manufactured specifically for each car, ensuring safety and specific mounting on your vehicle's chassis.
The roll cage is supplied as an unpainted welding kit, and comprises a 45 mm-diameter main roll bar made of E355 steel (cold-drawn, seamless), with the rest of the structure made of 40 mm-diameter E355 steel (cold-drawn, seamless).
AST FIA weld-on roll bars are supplied in kit form, and initially do not come with final documentation. To obtain them, it is necessary to follow the roll bar certification procedure, which you will receive by e-mail from AST together with installation drawings.
This procedure involves taking a series of photographs, filling in a form with details of the vehicle and the people responsible for carrying out the welding, as well as a welding sample which will have to be carried out using the same technique as that used in the installation of the roll bar.
Once all these requirements are in AST's possession and the results are satisfactory, the final documentation is issued and sent to you by post. All at no extra cost.

IMPORTANT: These structures are designed and built in accordance with FIA Appendix J. Consult your Federation/Sporting Organization for the minimum safety requirements specific to your vehicle, version, engine and type of test and/or championship, even if this roll bar is suitable for all engine models.
Their installation requires adaptations of interior components on the production vehicle (dashboard, door panels, no headliner or sunroof...) and does not allow you to keep the rear seats!
