FORGE air intake duct carbon for Toyota Yaris GR

All-new FORGE intake duct for Toyota Yaris GR that allows you to add a great looking carbon fibre piece to the engine bay but also keeps the air intake temperature down when driving sporty, on track or in rallies.

3D printed test parts were used to ensure optimum size and geometry. The performance part is much larger than the original part and fits snugly around the front bumper and airbox so that engine heat has minimal effect.

During track tests, the original duct showed a strong influence of the thermal impregnation on the intake air temperature, which fluctuated dramatically. The FORGE intake duct reduced the intake air temperature and kept it at a more constant level (a reduced and constant temperature is of great importance as any high temperature spike causes the ECU to delay ignition and reduce available power).

The Forge intake duct design incorporates a free flow path to both the upper and lower airbox opening, whereas the stock design does not have this flow to the lower opening and the upper opening is small and not completely sealed. It is important to understand that the lower opening is far more important to the performance of your Yaris GR.
