Designed for use in competition, their internal design has been entirely designed for performance: 8° injector angle, roughness of the walls, minimized pressure drop at the throttle level, machining of all contact surfaces. Reliability has also guided the design of Jenvey butterfly cases: lacquered finish, use of high quality materials, high-resistance screws. The assembly of the throttle valves has also been taken care of: the axles are mounted on PTFE-lubricated and sintered-phosphated bronze bearings, withstanding temperature changes (operates up to more than 200°C), maintenance-free, and preserving a slight axial clearance necessary for the proper centering of the throttle valves. Jenvey throttle bodies have been proven to over 1 million cycles without any loss of efficiency. Each piece is individually tested before being put on sale, to ensure impeccable quality.
