Forge Motorsport offers this dump valve for FSI and TSI 1.4T, 1.8T and 2.0T engines, including the 2.0 engine from late 2011 to 2013 fitted with the IHI turbo; the 1.4T requires an additional mounting kit (FO-FMBGFK3), for several cars in the VAG group.
This dump valve is the latest version of Component number FMFSITVR. It's a closed-circuit dump valve that integrates seamlessly into the standard wiring harness and therefore generates no fault codes, engine lights or loss of power whatsoever.
Like Forge Motorsport's open-circuit dump valve, the FMFSITVR and FMFSITAT are entirely designed to remedy the fragility of standard solenoid valves, in particular the diaphragm, whose rupture can cause turbo leaks. Forge valves are made from an alloy with a piston that offers much greater reliability than standard valves, as well as reduced turbo response time.
This dump valve is particularly well suited to the B7 and B8 chassis of the Audi A4 and A5 with the 2.0T engine. The valve mounting location on these vehicles is particularly close to the chassis rails, and the overall height of the standard Forge dump valve + spacer is too great, touching the chassis at this point.

The black-colored FMFSITVR dump valve is much lower once installed, making it possible to add the closed-circuit option on B7 and B8 chassis, which is not possible as standard.
Another important feature of this product is the port on the intake manifold to accommodate a vacuum reference to control the dump valve. This component also has ports available from which information can be taken from the intake manifold. This additional intake manifold information can be used for turbo pressure measurement or even water/methanol control.
For installation on the 1.4 turbo engine, the FMBCGFK3 turbo pressure sensor adapter is required.

Note: This product is only compatible with 1.4 turbo engines up to early 2013, where the turbo is located at the front of the engine compartment.
Not compatible with CMBA and CXSB engines.
