This AP Racing clutch disc 6 pads in rigid sintered metal diameter 215mm is designed for a use in competition.

Cerametallic discs are manufactured by "gluing" (via metal bonds) ceramic to a steel disc for better heat dissipation. These cerametallic discs are mainly used in rally, off-road and hillclimbing, as they allow for better clutch play. The main advantages are better frictional resistance, less abrupt shifting and a much lower risk of jerking than sintered metal discs.

Products designed to adapt vehicles for competition use may prohibit them from being driven on roads open to public traffic, insofar as they significantly modify the characteristics of the vehicles as described in the type-approval report issued by the mines department: noise, pollution, maximum speed, tire size, etc.
