Description
carburettor hot start kit
A poor hot start can be the result of pressure building up in the fuel supply line of a carburettor-equipped car, causing the carburettor to flood.
Some manufacturers have solved this problem by installing a fuel return line in the tank, but this solution is cumbersome for owners of cars without this feature, as it involves irreversible modifications to the car; however, Webcon has the solution.
Webcon's fuel line decompression kit includes an extra fuel hose, clips and two tees, one with a valve and one without, to install a bypass loop in the fuel line to bleed excess pressure built up in the system.
Installation simply involves cutting the fuel supply pipe before and after the fuel pump and inserting the bypass pipe via the T-pieces.
Solving a hot start problem really is that simple.
The kit contains a length of fuel hose, six hose clips, two T-pieces and illustrated instructions.
The kit is available in 2 versions: 8 mm hose or 6 mm hose (internal diameter).
