Description

AP Racing sintered circular rigid clutch disc diameter 184mm for dual disc clutch. The AP Racing clutch discs of 184mm have been developed for maximum performance.
Disc diameter: 184mm
Disc thickness: 2,62mm
Shaft pinion outer diameter: 20 teeth x 17.

Sintered metal disc: a thin layer of metal lining is sintered (the metal powder is heated, without taking it to the point of melting, and under the effect of heat the grains weld together) directly on a steel disc. Sintered metal discs are generally used for the circuit. Their main advantage is a low inertia, which allows a better engine response and faster gear changes, thanks to a lighter and smaller structure than the ceramic one. Sintered metal discs are not suitable for races where you have to play with the clutch (rally, uphill etc.).

Products designed to adapt vehicles for competition use may prohibit them from being driven on roads open to public traffic, insofar as they significantly modify the characteristics of the vehicles as described in the type-approval report issued by the mines department: noise, pollution, maximum speed, tire size, etc.
