Description

The DS1.11 range from Ferodo is a range of brake pads designed for endurance competitions. Unlike its competitors who use ceramic to the maximum, Ferodo has chosen Siloxanes.
Unlike carbon-based materials, Siloxanes does not decompose at high temperatures, allowing the DS1.11 to operate well beyond the maximum temperatures that brake pads could encounter.
As a result, Ferodo's DS1.11 pads have excellent heat retention, long life and a high coefficient of friction that lasts throughout the life of the pad, but also remains consistent over the temperature range.

Very soft on the discs, with a coefficient of friction of 0.46 and a temperature range of 200 to 700°C, DS1.11 are ideal for endurance use in GT, Single Seater etc. Not allowed on open road.

Products designed to adapt vehicles for competition use may prohibit them from being driven on roads open to public traffic, insofar as they significantly modify the characteristics of the vehicles as described in the type-approval report issued by the mines department: noise, pollution, maximum speed, tire size, etc.
