With modern traffic conditions, engines are subjected to higher stresses, which generate impurities and deposits that can clog critical engine parts. This can impact engine operation if these deposits are not removed during oil changes.

Deposits can build up, unnoticed, for the following reasons:

- Use of poor quality oil
- Delayed or missed oil changes
- Driving under adverse conditions. For example, frequent short trips, frequent starts, driving in heavy traffic and congestion, or driving uphill or downhill.

Castrol Engine Shampoo is an engine oil pre-drain treatment with a powerful cleaning agent (Powerful Cleaning Agent) that removes engine deposits and absorbs dirt particles, easily removing them and cleaning the engine before your new oil change.

How to use Castrol Engine Shampoo: 

1. Stop your engine. Add 300 ml (*) of Engine Shampoo to the engine oil through the filler cap. * For oil capacities from 3 to 6 liters.
2. Restart and idle the engine for 10 minutes.
3. Turn off your engine and drain the used oil.
4. Pour in new oil and replace your oil filter.
