## Description

This pair of OBP ball-joint cups for the Ford Capri MK1, MK2, MK3, and Ford Escort MK1/MK2 replaces the original shock absorber top mounts on the front axle with a rigid mounting on spherical rod ends. This fixed-wheel camber version is designed for vehicles prepared for sports, rally, track, or competition use.
Unlike adjustable cups, the OBP OBPTM001F features a one-piece, fixed-wheel camber design. This allows for a rod end-mounted shock absorber without adding a wheel camber adjustment system.
The PTFE-coated carbon steel rod ends replace the more flexible mounting of conventional bushings. This design limits unwanted movement at the upper mounting point and provides a more direct connection between the shock absorber and the chassis, which is particularly beneficial with a sport suspension or threaded coilovers.
The cups are machined from solid 6061 aluminum and then anodized. Their rod ends have a 17 mm bore, and reducer inserts are available separately to adapt the mounting to different shock absorber shaft diameters.
Sold in pairs to equip the entire front axle, these OBP rod end cups are compatible with the Ford Capri MK1, MK2, and MK3, as well as the Ford Escort MK1 and MK2.
