## Description

The ZRP forged I-beam connecting rods for the MINI Cooper S and JCW 2.0 B48 are designed to reinforce the moving parts of the B48 engine as part of an engine upgrade. They are specifically suited for MINI Cooper S and John Cooper Works models of the F54, F55, F56, F57, and F60 generations equipped with the 2.0 Turbo B48 engine.

Manufactured from high-strength 4340 steel, these ZRP connecting rods combine an optimized I-beam design with a low-weight construction to withstand the stresses encountered in tuned internal combustion engines. They undergo a multi-stage heat treatment and shot peening to enhance their mechanical resistance and fatigue resistance.

The tapered connecting rod small end ensures compatibility with the original pistons. The AMPCO 18 connecting rod small end rings also feature a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir to aid in the oiling of the gudgeon pin.

Each set includes 4 matched connecting rods with a weight tolerance specified by ZRP of ±1 g. They are shipped with ARP2000 fasteners. The manufacturer also offers an upgrade to ARP L19 fasteners for builds subjected to particularly high stresses.
