The Peugeot 308 GTI is a very capable B - road and track machine, however the driving experience is somewhat let down by the excessively long throw of the gear stick. Forge Motorsport are proud to present FMSS6, the adjustable short shifter kit for the Peugeot 308 GTI.

3D scanning and 3D printed prototypes helped to develop the best solution for this short shifter. The most important part of the development for a short shifter is to ensure that the shift cables aren’t under further deflection than when connected to the OEM. The 3D Scans allowed to locate the repositioned ball pin along the same plane as the OEM, and then the 3D print helped to confirm the findings before taking the design to the in-house machine shop.

As this is an adjustable short shifter, you can easily change from the OEM shift length to our reduced position with a 16mm spanner. This creates a maximum reduction of 64% per gear shift.

This reduces shift times along with the chance of selecting the wrong gear, making it the ideal modification for track day and fast road driving.

The kit comes complete with everything you need for installation, including a supplied billet pin removal tool to help with the removal of the OEM shifter arm and a set of full colour instructions. Fitting can be carried out in around 1.5 hours.

There is no counterweight to the design like on the original part which makes the lever action of the shifter less linear, more force is needed to change gears but the throw is a lot shorter and you can adjust the system to your liking. The pin removal tool likely can only be used once. There is a forge sticker too!

La vis de l extracteur c est cassé a rat de l extracteur du coup obligé de démonter la commande de la boîte et d acheter un joint , la vis qui passe à travers l’axe du sélecteur est du 6 mm et le trou percé sur l arbre du sélecteur mesure 6,5 voir 6,7mm même bien serré il y a un peu de jeux ….une fois ça réglé la boîte est plus agréable et le côté réglable du levier est plutôt sympa mois je suis pas tout à fait au milieu
