Alpinestars Radar boots FIA 8856-2018

Whether it's at the pit for the mechanics or in the car for the drivers and co-drivers, when you have to wear shoes all day long, they have to meet several important criteria in terms of safety and comfort. Alpinestars knows this and has designed and developed these Radar boots keeping in mind these essential elements.

First of all: safety.
The heel and toe of the boot are reinforced. In addition, the heel is ergonomically designed with compounds that offer support and stability.
The rubber sole provides grip, protection and support, making them ideal for long hours in the garage or for co-drivers getting in and out of vehicles.
For foot support, a dual closure system incorporates traditional lacing and a hook-and-loop strap for secure closure.
For comfort, perforated areas have been strategically placed to increase cooling performance and maximize ventilation. A nitrile rubber lining construction enhances comfort while reducing the weight of the shoe. The low cut back facilitates ankle movement and increases comfort in the Achilles heel area.
Likewise, the ankle support improves comfort and support when you need to crouch or make quick movements.
The perforated tongue with soft lining increases comfort.

The design is not left out with a clean, unique racing look coupled with a soft leather main construction and reinforced carbon-effect leather areas on the instep and heel for maximum durability.

Finally, to meet FIA standards, these driver's shoes are designed with Nomex® fabric to ensure comfort, safety and full foot protection.
