This Bratex limited-slip differential (helical gear), made from 8620 alloy steel, is compatible with Peugeot and Citroën sports models using BE4-5 manual gearboxes.

It is fitted directly in place of the original differential.

Bratex LSD are designed to have a 5:1 torque distribution. This means that if one wheel loses traction, the more grippy wheel can receive up to 5 times more torque than the slipping wheel.
Bratex self-locking differentials operate progressively less abruptly than a disc differential, their setting varies continuously according to loss of traction, they use no discs (no wear) and they are very gentle on the original transmission while retaining very good efficiency.
