A second unique technology implemented by DBA, called "Kangaroo Paw", completely modifies the disc's internal cooling structure. The new design increases the contact surface by 59.7%, enabling heat to be dissipated more efficiently and thus reducing brake overheating.
These DBA discs feature three thermographic markings on their edges to give the rider feedback on the operating temperature of his brakes according to their use, both in racing and on the road.
